A Sky News investigation has revealed that just six of the 20 most influential accounts that were posting about the Southport stabbings were based in the UK.

It shows how much influence European and global far-right groups have in sowing discontent in Britain, especially on the issues of race and immigration.

Riots broke out across the UK over the summer after three young girls were stabbed to death in Southport.

Incorrect claims that the stabbing suspect was a migrant helped fuel the violence across the country.

The UK has seen the biggest fall in fertility rates across G7 countries since 2010,
that's the average number of children that women have.

Data commissioned by Sky News shows the UK has seen a decline of almost 19%, in comparison, France has seen a decline of under 10%.

With fewer babies born, an aging population, and without increased migration to bolster the healthcare workforce, increased pressure could be looming on future public finances.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has warned against deliberate attacks on peacekeepers after Israeli troops breached one of their positions.

It said peacekeepers in Ramyah, southern Lebanon, were in shelters when two Israeli tanks "forcibly entered" their position, requesting that the base "turn out its lights".

All of the UK can expect to see more dazzling displays of the Northern Lights in coming months.

Scientists say increased solar activity is behind the more frequent celestial shows.

On Thursday evening, the aurora borealis, as it is official known, was again seen as far south as Cornwall.

But if you missed them don't worry, experts say we are likely to see more displays in the run-up to Christmas.
