All of the UK can expect to see more dazzling displays of the Northern Lights in coming months.

Scientists say increased solar activity is behind the more frequent celestial shows.

On Thursday evening, the aurora borealis, as it is official known, was again seen as far south as Cornwall.

But if you missed them don't worry, experts say we are likely to see more displays in the run-up to Christmas.
