Politics make people do wild things and Las Vegas is a controversial hotbed of opinions and stances. With Nevada being a swing state in the upcoming election, protest and statements are at an all time high. A mysterious and offensive effigy of the former Republican President appeared just north of Las Vegas in Apex, about 30 minutes from the resort corridor. Built on private property and surrounded by large protective fences, this unexpected tourist attraction drew thousands of visitors before it was quickly dismantled and removed. Though no one has specifically claimed responsibility, with bith Democrats and conservatives claiming to not know, most are attributing this work to well known political protest artists like Banksy or the team behind Indecline. Indecline appeared to take credit with a vague post suggesting someone was responsible, but nothing more.
