Labour government have 'concocted fictitious black hole'
Shadow work and pensions secretary Mel Stride says we have to "get growth and productivity up" as Labour have "talked the economy down".
He says Labour "boxed themselves in" during the election as the party that wouldn't raise taxes, but now plans could be in place to increase capital gains tax.
He goes on to say the government also "concocted this fictitious black hole" left by the Conservative Party.
Sky's Trevor Phillips also asks Mr Stride his thoughts on the Tory leadership contest and pays tribute to former first minister of Scotland Alex Salmond.
