U.K. using trans people as ‘political weapon,’ says Scotland’s first minister

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is set to block a Scottish bill that would make it easier for people to change gender for legal purposes by self-declaration. Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon criticized Sunak’s move, saying that the British government was using transgender people as a “political weapon.”
