For those of us who love westerns, we’re quick to notice if a Western film isn’t accurate. Whether it be the clothing, horse tack, or props.
I’m following up on an earlier video I posted today.
There are several Westerns that made the effort when it came to maintaining historical accuracy. It’s important to note that no western is 100% accurate. Perhaps they get the historic details of the event correct but get some clothing wrong or weapons used. We are talking here about those who do the best effort of getting it right. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. These movies are fictional accounts of history but not documentaries.
Here are some of the most historically accurate Western films. Some based on my viewers suggestions.
My Channel - Westerns made over the last century plus have entertained us fans. There are a few that actually attempted to not only entertain but also be as authentic as possible. Obviously not to the extent of a documentary. But they wanted to make the tradition and detail be as much a character of the movie as the leading man.
