It seems no modern British General Election has been complete without the presence of novelty candidates. For many decades, the standard bearer of satirical silliness was Screaming Lord Sutch.

In more recent years, it’s been a man with a bin on his head - Count Binface, who was created by the comedian Jon Harvey.

The Count is currently on a national tour, and dropped into the studio to give us a flavour of what he stands for.
